Powers of Attorney?
What They Do and Don’t Do
Presented by Sarah J. Broder, Attorney at Law for Stein Sperling
This program is designed to give you a brief overview of powers of attorney, both financial and healthcare (sometimes referred to as an Advance Medical Directive/Living Will), which are documents that can help plan for incapacity. While they can be extremely beneficial and are relatively easy to prepare, they also have some limitations; we’ll discuss these, including alternatives to address those limitations.
